The inauguration ceremony for the President of Payame Noor University Qeshm International Center was held in the presence of Dr. Adel Peighami, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, Sheikh Mohammad Ali Amini, a member of the Southern Iran Fatwa Council, and a number of professors, distinguished scholars and students.
Majid Salaghi, a member of the Islamic Council of Soheili Village, announced that a commemorative ceremony honouring the memory of the late Darvish Sharifi, widely known as the Father of Iran's Hara Forests, will be held on 6 November at Soheili Tourism Jetty in the heart of Hara Forest. He added that, in recognition of Mr Sharifi's sincere and lifelong dedication to safeguarding this unique natural heritage, two thousand Hara saplings will be planted during the ceremony to ensure that his legacy continues to flourish within the forest he devoted his life to protecting. Salaghi further noted that the late Darvish Sharifi dedicated many years to the conservation of Hara Forests and the protection of the natural environment. His vision and commitment to environmental stewardship will continue to inspire future generations in preserving nature. He also stated that the story of the "Father of Iran's Hara Forests" will be shared with children as an example of devotion to nature conservation, recalling the life of a man who contributed to the revitalization of Hara Forests through the planting of millions of saplings.

Intangible cultural heritage encompasses customs and traditions, rituals, music, languages and dialects, games, oral literature, and skills that shape the identity of a community.

The selection of Soheili Village as one of the world's leading tourism villages was celebrated across Qeshm Island with great enthusiasm. The occasion also brought together a number of national and local officials, who visited the village to explore its potential, traditions and cultural assets.
The villages of Soheili (Qeshm Island), Kandolus (Mazandaran), and Shafi’abad (Kerman) have been recognised as “Best Tourism Villages” by UN Tourism.
On the occasion of World Children's Day, a special programme entitled "Children and Namakdan Cave" will be held in Kani Village by Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark.
