The Director of Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark announced that construction of the Visitor and Information Centre at Chahkuh Gorge Geosite has reached 30 per cent completion. The project, with an investment of more than IRR 120 billion, is being implemented to strengthen tourism infrastructure and enhance visitor services at one of the Persian Gulf's most renowned geotourism destinations.

روستای گردشگری سهیلی در جزیره قشم شاهد اجرای طرح نوآورانهای با عنوان "سفره سبز سهیلی" است که حاصل همکاری مشترک شورای اسلامی روستا و مدیریت ژئوپارک جهانی قشم میباشد. این طرح که با هدف مقابله با معضل پسماند و توسعه گردشگری پایدار طراحی شده، در حال تبدیل شدن به الگویی موفق برای دیگر روستاهای جزیره قشم است. در چارچوب این ابتکار، تاسیسات گردشگری همیاران ژئوپارک در زمینه کاهش مصرف پلاستیک، مدیریت پسماند و تفکیک زباله خشک از مبدا فعالیت میکنند.
